The Boss Cs-3 is a fántastic pedal and it is sold at a very affordable price. Popular among chicken-pickers and blues players, the Boss is however not in the league of compressors like the Black Finger of Electro Harmonix, or the reeditions of the very popular Orange Squeezer.
