Just by changing the values of some of the capacitors and the kind of diodes originally installed in the pedal, the "flavor" of the distortion produced by this unit will change completely. From the very beginning you will notice that the pedal is much more "beefy" and that the unpleasant high-pitched tone has been mitigated. You will have also a pedal which produces a sound much richer in harmonics and that is much more responsible to dynamics.
